You didnt say anything. You just posted a hyperlink with some teary eyed platitudes

a quick glance over the proposed budget shows that it includes massive cuts across the board, just to finance a $52 billion increase of the military budget. I dont really know why the military budget should be raised at all. its way too high anyway.

Look, i'm all for reductions in military spending and scaling back the world police agenda, which can be done without even sacrificing real defense, but its also true that its not something that will solve the bulk of our debt problems.
Thats a basic math problem at its core. The 'entitlements' are the big numbers spiraling out of control.

in the linked budget proposal, I see expenditures of $574 for the military and of around $475b for everything else combined...

its the ol' discretionary spending vs total spending misunderstanding. happens a lot.
