Macron is the people's champion. Everyone loves him.
No way anyone would vote against a controversial right wing figure in a fruity leftist country.
Just don't look outside or check his approval rating.

he is right. most people voted for him just to not have to deal with extremists.
lepen's mass votes are directly connected with stupid immigration politics taken for years in fr, and abandoning native french people for the benefits of "strangers".
Here is something you stupid american cannot understand because you aren't into it, that lepen has always been a fake extremist candidate, a repeated manipulation to force second round vote to go for the candidate of the system. (the ue)
just check how many times lepen father has been in second round, vs the system candidate. and he always lost.
Instead we always got the system candidate that perfectly applied what the ue wanted for the french region of eu.
les dés sont pipés. elections in representativ democracy ..ahah what a joke

says the guy who cant post an argument himself

have you even followed the french election? you do realise that many left wing voters, who dont even like the guy voted for him to prevent le pen?
it pretty much was le pen vs the rest in the second election, just how dense are you

fenderp living under a rock, what a suprise

how obsessed and dense are you? look at what i actually said and stop beating up those poor strawmen. all i claimed is that 'not beig le pen' as his 'ONLY qualification' is a theory that's complete bs because otherwise he wouldn't have won the first election round. context matters - at least for people who aren't unsophisticated idiots.
no one claimed or even suggested that ALL 66% in the second round wholeheartedly supported his agenda - otherwise they wouldn't have voted for someone else before. i'm the one providing context and information here, you just defend the simplistic claims of your e-buddy because you can't distinguish between feelings and facts...

jesus christ fender, learn to understand the concept of "hyperbole". when I said that "Macron's only qualification was not being Le Pen", that was a hyperbolic statement and actually meant "the by far most important reason why people voted for Macron* was that he was considered the lesser of two evils compared to his opponent Le Pen, every other qualification he might have had played a much much smaller role."

*in the runoff

btw keep up your cute yet futile attempts at turning the right-wing talking point of "feelings and facts" against them. those attempts are really funny, coming from you of all people - you, the guy who never seems to be able to keep his rage in check and whose seething hatred is shining through his every word.

with your simplistic talking point debunked you resort to the good old 'b-b-but it was just hyperbole / a joke / troll' excuse. not much of a point in the first place then. guess that's what happens if you have no idea what you're talking about and have to consult wikipedia in order to act like you were TOTALLY aware that there was a first election round...
