Trump is such a liar. Ordinarily, this sort of story and lie would do considerable damage to a presidency. But Trump's supporters don't hold him morally responsible to be honest.

if they want to dissolve nato in favor of their own military as a result of trump even though an actual war isn't plausible then i support president trump. he just got us out of a massive bill just by being unpredictable.

Half of Congress wanted to impeach the president the last time he honored that treaty, and went out of their way to support a murderer of Americans in the process.

Warsaw Pact is gone. The English speaking world should form an economic and military bloc. US, Canada, British Empire, Australia, NZ, India if they want in.

if a president suddenly starts lying non-stop in the middle of his presidency, then yes, it would put off his supporters. but with trump, the fact that you cant take the things he says at face value has been part of his brand since the primaries. it's factored in by his supporters.

the thing with trump is that he's lying a lot of the times in unusual situations, but he is also telling the truth in a lot of situation where a normal politician would be telling (unprovable) lies.

I think the time for exclusionary treaties is almost done. Were what 100 years from a true global govt? I doubt there will ever be another major war.

The greed we feel is natural and makes humans better.
