Netanyahu's Likud party as well as far-right parties which are his allies and support an even more radical agenda than him received around 50% of the vote in the latest election. There might perhaps be something like 70% of the population which don't support him personally, but there is a solid 20-ish percent of Israel's population that supports his goals and vote for parties which are backing his rule in spite of whichever personal animosity they might feel toward Bibi.

me and most of "my people", have valid criticisms of the Israeli government/Netanyahu's extremism. there is no beef with Israelis or even Jews for that matter... the beef is entirely with the government, and rightfully so

is it justified? probably , maybe if they went about it in a more humanitarian way and had actual regard for Palestinian lives this wouldnt be as big of a crisis as it is now. therein lies the issue though, Israel has employed disproportionate and asymmetrical warfare tactics that aim to inflict as much damage as possible regardless of the loss of innocent civilian lives or civilian infrastructure (schools, hospitals, etc)

They are going about it in a humanitarian way. They are NOT targeting schools, hospitals, etc. - that is Hamas propaganda that you are promoting. If they target a "school" it's because it's not a real school, but a fake school set up as a cover for a Hamas military base (they love doing this)

False reports that they are targeting civilians & other nonsense is just that - complete nonsense coming from out of Hamas & their Arab media sympathizers and supporters e.g. Al Jazeera

Couple this with the fact that you have other leftists (not you) openly cheering for Hamas and explicitly supporting them out in the streets, it becomes impossible to distinguish those genuinely evil people from the people who are parroting Hamas propaganda who might just be stupid
