ive been asking for more concrete evidence than "looks fishy" for over a day now.

so far is see:

-potentially legit event of windows being covered (this one needs explaining big time) - Agreed.
-"reports of poll watchers being expelled", without much if any proof. maybe be hearsay reporting. - Agreed.
-"trump got ZERO votes overnight", thoroughly debunked thusfar - I believe the pundits who were expelled from twitter and facebook and had their posts deleted would have to be questioned regarding this. We need more info before we can say "debunked". To be fair and consistent.
-"these laws are unfair", but also they knew the laws coming in and trump still dissuaded mail in voting - Agreed.

and i think thats it. i agree with that take, but beyond some boarded up windows i dont see anything (pun intended).

this is correct, "feet" (a foot), "yards" (a stride), "inch" (tuna peepee size hard) are all easy to visualize objects for the average peasant.

Also, I think people are weighting far too hard on this "trump discouraged mail-in" thing. Bottom line is those who wanted to vote by mail did so, regardless of their vote, those who didn't, didn't.

Just a guess.

when we're looking at a nation of 400m people there's a very real number of people who fall into "the potus said not to so i didnt". not even just trump voters, but in this context it mostly is imo. now that might be .01%, but thats a lot when 400m is the total sample.

It still surprises me that 48% of voters voted for the guy that said there was very fine people on both sides after a woman got murdered at a white supremacist rally. Glad the right person won though.

if you hand in a project at school late, you will lose marks
if you hand in a project at work late, you will lose reputation and maybe more

why didn't they just send the shit in earlier if they cared so damned much? why would we suffer now because people were laxidazical about this so-called "most important freedom" of voting
fuck em
just count it up , 8pm tuesday cutoff, and whoever wins, wins
pretty simply imho

i default on the simply opinion that, if you can't trust the leader of your country and listen to the leader's advice, then who the hell else are you going to trust and listen to?
when Justin said don't travel, stay in place, etc., it was ok fine i'll just chill in this province or that province for a couple of months. wasn't really a fucking hard decision to have carte-blanche vacation time in cool cities. these are good leaders. nothing wrong with listening to them and trusting them

How so? It only seems repulsive if you buy into all the BS that the right feeds into the general population. There are literal studies/statistics which state that Fox News/Right Wing Media watchers are more uninformed than people that do not watch the news at all.

None of that is the point of what I was saying. Trump did discourage mail in voting, due primarily to worries surrounding chain of custody and potential fraud. Indeed, even the Biden campaign encouraged voters to go verify their ballots had been received down at the polls. I'm simply questioning the theory that voters (in general) Trust any government official when they tell them how they should go about voting. Like, I've voted Absentee for the last 20 years. IDGAF what Trump or Biden says either one. I'm going to get my ballot mailed to me, fill it out, and then personally turn it in at the polling station. By doing it that way, they verify ID on the spot, and it checks the box that insures my ballot will never be rejected for a "slightly different looking signature".

Regarding postmark laws, nearly all states (like Georgia) have deadlines that required the ballot be RECEIVED by no later than 7pm on the third. A few states, however, do simply agree that sometimes the USPS fucks up, and allows for any ballot that's postmarked by 11/03 to be counted. Those are the hardline rules. The only thing Trump rally went off about was how PENN tried to change things at the last second so that ballots received after the 3rd but showing no postmarks could be "assumed to have been sent in time". Um... No. And IIRC, he won that case, so everything worked out fine.

Don't worry friend, it'll all come out in the wash. There'll be a winner, and kudos to whichever it'll be.

No matter who wins, I hope it's 270-268. No fucking mandate at all.
