I've seen both gnarjay and fender have nuanced takes on the situation. Can't say I've seen too many meanwhile posts to know one way or another.

you specifically leave out the part of palestinians rising up and overthrowing the violent regime in the name of peace and a better future. it is very sad that religious beliefs from a time well past are dictating lives of many today. most would say move on for a better future for the next generations....

Have any of those "nuanced takes" been anything other than "Israel bad"? Because I don't know if you have a set of magical eyes that are different from mine, this has never been the case for these users

Yes. Fender has been consistent in his support of both Israeli and Palestinian civilians, and wants a future of peace.

Now you're arguing in bad faith - the topic is on the war between nation states or pseudo-nation states (Palestine). Everyone wants the wellbeing of innocent civilians.

You need a reason why the people won't rise up against the violent, armed militants? Generally people are not in favor of being shot, this often leads to people following the orders of people with guns, does this help?

Netanyahu has been pushing his far-right agenda for decades, 70% of his own populace doesnt support him. did you see the protests last night in Israel?
