The economy and immigration are the reasons we have a Republican populist in office. Immigration remains a huge issue that voters are concerned about and whether you agree with this move or not, it’s aimed at addressing that issue.

Instead of crying about trump in usual fashion why not be respectful to those voters that clearly said this is an issue?

what a colossally unintelligent thing to even think, let alone say out lout.

just sit down and say nothing for 3.5 years inbetween presidential elections? Because someone won an electoral map but lost the popular vote?

I'm not one of the loony lefties that talks about the electoral college to imply Trump shouldn't be in office, but if you're using that same electorate to imply that policy should go unchallenged because "he won" I honestly am astounded at how ignorant and just plain stupid of an idea that is.

It's easy to just call out every single critique as "crying about Trump", i'm sure that's a comforting device that feels really good to use in place of actual thought.

The voters spoke, in a much more uniform manner, when they elected Obama. And it was still the duty of the republicans to fight him in every avenue they could muster a defense. That's the game. People dont need to sit and shut up after elections, this isn't Russia, no matter how much you want it to be.

I’m not appealing to anything just stating the obvious why this is a noteworthy issue. Trump is acting on an issue that was clearly important to the people that voted for him.

It’s like we’re in the twilight zone. Look at pew research at what were some of the most important issues for voters in 2016. Immigration was one of the top ones. This move, whether you agree with it or not addresses at least on a tangential level the issue of immigration.

What the fuck does the electoral college have to do with this? Icemage isn’t critiquing the move, he’s calling the move meaningless when it’s so obviously not so to the people that put him in office

So it's noteworthy because voters stupidly care about it, not because it's actually an important issue? We can agree on that.

Every thread you post in you accuse people of crying. At some point the projection gets old my brutha.

immigration is an issue =/= signing an executive order rather than working with congress for lasting legislation on birthright citizenship specifically

you kids love to drop the "not an argument" bullshit, now you're weakly implying that this move is above reproach because your best two arguments are that it's baked into the cake (specific EOs are NEVER baked into the cake) and a weak ass appeal to popularity.

now squirm and tell us all how that's not what you're going, we all believe you.

yes its so important that he's addressing a single aspect of it with an EXECUTIVE ORDER.....

you kids will fall for any headline you like. this is a pointless move that another POTUS can wipe away, just like Trump wiped away obama's legacy.

and trump has a fucking mandate currently lol. you kids really need to use your heads, you've been saying "not an argument" and "orange man bad" at everything so often its affected the way u guys read and process information. do better, you look pathetic.

Lol at the amount of triggerering, calling me a kid doesn’t negate my argument. The modus operandi of how something is accomplished does not mean that the issue is not noteworthy. It’s noteworthy because tackling the anchor baby issue will significantly affect illegal immigration.

275k anchor babies born in us in 2014 vs 50k of legal migration to the us in form of refugees, please tell me more how addressing this means nothing.

I’m not even arguing If this move is good or bad in whatever direction what I’m arguing is that it’s significant meanwhile you’re getting triggered not sure why?

Why does Trump insist on acting like an emperor above the will of the people?

If he really cared about the country instead of his legacy he wouldn't legislate from the oval office!
