I agree he was sharper... I also think Trump was sharper 5 years ago. If you look at speeches or interviews in 2015 vs now, there's a noticeable difference. 70+ year old men losing a step over 5 years is not surprising. But the "Joe has dementia" claims are silly.

This. Even I, one of the most prolific Trump shills, notice and recognize that he has lost a step or two over the last 5 years.

Biden has lost two or three steps, but he doesnt have full-blown dementia. In retrospect, it was a mistake to push this talking point.

Mangix isn't a Trump people.

Honestly the fact that people like him and snipa are so susceptible to the propaganda shows how effective the right is at it.

I never said he had medical dementia, or if I did I didn't mean it literally. They're both just old and the brain moves way slower than it used to. I can already tell the difference at 30 from 20. Both of them were much more coherent even just 4-6 years ago. My grandpa had actual dementia, he was running around the street at 3am duct taping his arm to stop bleeding from the falls on the pavement. Trump makes up words when his brain fails or shifts topics, Joe just pauses or stutter comes back.

news flash old people almost always lose a step in their 70s and beyond. President Trump’s is also explained further by his job. Happened to Reagan too. We see the toll that takes on even youthful Presidents like Slick Willie Clinton and Obama

Sure... but that's another argument for younger presidents than a fucking 74 and a fucking 78 year old.

Then our threshold for what qualifies as that is the difference here lol.
His age is making his stutter less controllable which given the way he already speaks, it ends up coming out like mush sometimes, or he just outright replaces words with different words.

"Donald Trump does pose an extral strenth to this... the... its not hypothetical"
"So if you could take care... if you were a quartermaster... you can sure and help take care running a uh you know a department store... thing... you know... uh were... and a second floor of a ladies department rrr you know I mean?"

i dont disagree here at all. but we have had younger Presidents and it didnt always end up going well either. i do want younger politicians across the board and strict term limits for congress. we have the head of both chambers of the legislature who have been in office longer than most of us have been alive. its a little ridiculous

say what one will about the President position it does have a firm 8-year cap now. and none of the silly hypothetical hijinx of resigning to get re-elected whatever isn’t realistic

Maxine Waters was still in office during the LA Riots. I remember being a little baffled when i saw her going out there in the aftermath trying to get people to form a line to get mail and shit in a documentary.

Yes, I would support 18-year term limits for Congress. Long enough that institutional continuity and knowledge can be preserved and passed on from generation to generation, but short enough to discourage career politicians and to ensure some degree of fresh blood.
The 8 year limit for presidents is perfect as is.

Not to be outdone by Biden railing against the 2nd amendment, Kamala Harris posts her speech endorsing equality of outcome aka communism.

https://twitter.com/KamalaHarris/status/1322963321994289154

"equitable treatment means we all end up at the same place"

"equality suggests 'oh everyone should get the same amount.' The problem with that, not everybody's starting out from the same place."
