I don't think that's true. There are a lot of thriving brown and East Asian countries as well. If I recall correctly, there are a handful of African countries that have done extremely well for themselves. Again, I have to ask, why do you think his family are leeches?

A good family would stay to their "thriving non-white country" to make their people better. They'd do everything they can to ELEVATE their people instead of going to white people land only to complain bout injustice done to them.
