it's almost like the right completely ignores the massive voter disenfranchisement efforts by republicans and simply pretends it's the other side that's actually stealing elections, lol. projection at its finest...

Even with the gerrymandered elections, the red wave met a blue wall.

Here comes the rigged election crowd. It was always bound to be either a red wave or rigged elections, nothing else is possible to them.

Outstanding NV votes should tilt toward Laxalt. Clark county at 74% reported and Washoe down to a 2k vote gap, while 7 traditionally red counties haven't released any results yet.

Laxalt takes the lead with 78% reported statewide. Clark county now at 84% reported, Washoe now has Laxalt up 5k votes with 64% reported. 2 rural counties still not reported as well.

E: 1 rural county just reported, Laxalt extends lead to ~22k votes.

Kari Lake closing the huge gap from a few hours ago. I love her as a candidate I hope for the people of AZ she wins. Her opponent literally copied Biden’s election strategy.

Inflation is literally a global issue post covid not an American issue but go on.

Inflation in the US stood 2.5% higher than in Europe back in January 2022, before the outbreak of the war. That's quite clearly tied to Biden passing another huge stimulus bill in the summer of 2021, on top of the first two ones which were passed during the height of covid.

Also, global inflation is driven in large part due to the collapse of the US fracking industry during covid, and its lack of recovery post-covid. This lack of recovery in spite of sky high prices can clearly be associated with the anti-fossil policies of the Biden admin.
Similarly, the West waging an economic war on Russia as a reaction to the invasion of Ukraine was not inevitable, it was a choice which they made under the leadership of the Biden admin.
And last but not least, Biden's complete lack of clout with Saudi Arabia and other Gulf monarchies doesn't help in the current situation either, with OPEC refusing to pump more.

So while inflation is a global issue, it is particularly pronounced in the US once we normalize for the circumstances (largely self-sufficient vs Europe's high dependence on Russian supplies etc.), and it was exacerbated for the whole world by the various policies of the Biden admin.

Biden fucks up the economy and people still vote democrat.
How much do they need to pay for gas and groceries before they get it?

This. I can rationalize why weak candidates like Oz or Walker didn't get the job done, or that Democrats might eke out a narrow win in races like AZ and NV senate which always tilted their way. Or that underfunded candidates like Tudor Dixon (MI Gov) or Bolduc (NH Sen) couldn't win. What is a lot more eerie, however, is the apparent lack of an enthusiasm gap or turnout edge in favor of Republicans.

Given the political environment (historic midterm trends, Biden's approvals deeply under water, inflation skyhigh, the economy teetering on the brink of recession, crime and the border out of control), this performance is a massive massive disappointment for the GOP, even if they eventually get to 225 seats in the House or so.

A lot of races are still to be called, but I think we can already draw some conclusions:

The big winners of the night: DeSantis and the polling industry
The big losers of the night: Trump and the candidates closely associated with his post-2020 antics; McConnell who threw multiple races by refusing to fund GOP candidates
