Shyt is getting so deep, you need waders to stay afloat.
The whole damn country is FOR the stimulus checks, but the Dems can't seem to understand that. LOL

You can't regulate a cold. Locking down business and crashing the global economy is not a normal or sane response, as the damage to supply chains cause far more damage than a few million 82 year olds dying.

It may sound cold, but it's real, unlike any of your nonsense. The average age of covid-related death is 82 years old. Reasonable people stated right from the start, "Incentivize the elderly and immunocompromise to self-quarantine, everyone else can keep on keeping on."

But you're not reasonable. You're not logical. And you don't care about the facts of the situation. BTW, you, who've been sat there defending Andrew Cuomo's actions in sending infected patients into nursing homes, killing 10K+ elderly people, then covering up that information, are not a person to be trusted with anyone's lives.

We can stop any time you want, or I can continue pointing out the windowlicking screeching that is all your posts amount to. Your choice. :)

Edit: While spitting facts that you'll desperately ignore, why don't we just mention, while the average age of covid-related death is 82, the average lifespan in the US is only 78. Fun, eh?

I didn’t realize people were still buying into the fallacy that quarantining was prevent the deaths of the elderly and not to keep our overwhelmed healthcare system afloat.

Your logic is just nonexistent and your care for fellow humans is disgusting, there’s nothing reasonable or logical about letting a few million people die and not trying our absolute best to prevent it if at all possible.

The flu kills over 100,000 annually. No one is for lockdowns to prevent the flu. Ergo, everyone should be reported for wishing mass death on millions.

Life expectancy has plummeted as a result of lockdowns, however, and we've collectively lost millions of years of life expectance on top of those who died from the virus. I suppose that means those who are pro-lockdown are also mass murderers. Sometimes you can't win.

Good to see you've finally given up even the appearance of respectability. Qidiot is a more honest look.

CDC says 12-60k deaths per year from flu in the US, covid death toll is nearly 500,000 in the us :/

Not to mention flu cases this year are nearly nonexistent because masks and social distancing work, plus all you heathens finally wash your damn hands like you learned in kindergarten.

You are obtuse. The argument for lockdowns must be more substantial than "some people will die", because people invariably die as a result of almost every policy decision. You can certainly construct a case for significant restrictions, some of which might be described as common sense, but it needs to be expressed with a full understanding of the costs and consequences to both action and inaction.

Take reopening schools. In-class learning plays a fundamental role in the long-term health of students, especially those from poor, underprivileged communities. At the same time, there is clearly a risk to teachers even with precautions in place. But when we weigh the risk to a subset of teachers and the risk to millions of students, it's clear that the latter outweighs the former. The greater harm will be averted by putting students back in schools with the best precautions that we can reasonably come up with. Those precautions will not be perfect, and sometimes there will be significant flaws, but that is ok, because the damage being done to students right now is unacceptable.
