This is why Sanders is loved by the left. He actually fights for people. Him and the progressive caucus are the only reason $600 checks got in the last bill after they went on every show for 2 weeks and blasted them for not having any stimulus in it. Now he's the primary one fighting for $2000 checks. Just as Trump's corruption and mishandling of Covid are not unexpected, this is not unexpected from Bernie. This is exactly how he's always operated.

shocker. the swamp gets to keep even more of the money we pay in taxes under threat of punishment (even during a pandemic) and they collect salaries off of. don’t worry though plenty of it will go to where its ‘really needed’ (foreign “aid”, kennedy center, k street, war machine, global conglomerates, etc.)
