Working at a call center diagnosing phones is the exact same skill set for diagnosing a patient, just there's more that can go wrong with a human body.

Also I'm pretty sure it's just the school I attended as to why I absolutely hated it. After I left about 20% of my class also dropped out which is absolutely not normal. Hard to choose schools when you can't sample them. Sucks, but oh well. I can always try to go back some day if I want to.


ya mastering checkers requires a similar skill set as mastering chess, just a lot more variables with the latter

when you're rounding on 20 patients a day and you have 2 difficult patients that are distrusting/confrontational etc that each require an hour of your time... that easiest part translates to the worst part of your day because you have compromised valuable time

20% drop out is absolutely abnormal so I wouldn't put much stock into those experiences

If you've done any significant work in science, you've fucked up something that cost a lot of money. If you haven't yet, you haven't worked in science for very long.

Now that I'm managing the lab and doing the orders, I appreciate how fucking expensive science is. I probably spend my own salary every month in plastics.

Oh, iv had to listen to multiple teary sessions of experiments that have been botched and some waste of sequencing data, something, something, something over my head.

Even with Twitter and Facebook working 24/7 to do damage control, the story is being spread all over the internet. Not only is Trump going to win, he's going to win in one of the biggest landslides in history, rivaled only by Reagan's 1984 election.

I'm sort of amazed at the diversity of America. How could you, as an individual, live in such a profoundly different reality than me? In my circle, not only will no one hear about this story, they wouldn't even believe it. You, on the other hand, appear to believe that this is a smoking gun. God bless this great country.
