So the US justice department is a right wing arm of imposition? I dunno man I think you got some things to work out but if anything along these lines is similar to what you think not only are you a nutbag, but you have some pretty obvious contradictory problems within that very simple statement alone.

why don't you just link me the us justice department statistic that confirms your claim then? i googled it, but unsurprisingly couldn't find an official source that supported your little narrative, only right wing hacks that made similar fallacious claims without proof.

Kek here we go.
It’s called an amendment for a reason. It’s a “well-regulated militia” for a reason.
I’m just not sure why you’re ok with little children being shot in schools without being able to say we really did everything we could to keep them safe.

No one is ok with little children being shot in schools. If you want to do "everything you can" then spend your entire lives savings and every minute of your life following around whatever kid you specifically deem worthy with a highly trained group of individuals protecting him from life.

Oof. I’m guessing this is all going over your head.

It seems I need to post this every 11-12 months...

2nd Amendment...

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

The comma after a free state means that we have two different things, that "shall not be infringed".

1. A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State
2. the right of the people to keep and bear Arms

BOTH of these two things, separately... "shall not be infringed"

/e Just in case anyone decides that "the right of the people to keep and bear arms" has anything to do with whether those same people are IN the "well regulated militia".

James Madison originally proposed the Second Amendment shortly after the Constitution was officially ratified as a way to provide more power to state militias, which today are considered the National Guard.

It doesn't matter why the 2nd Amendment was proposed. It's basic rules of English language. The 2nd Amendment, as it's worded, means what I said it does.

A well regulated militia shall not be infringed, actually.

Yeah.

And... the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

No, there is no “and.”
If you want to pick it apart this way, the right to bear arms part is furthering the description on the security of a free state.
