You are misunderstanding what I'm saying. I didn't say go positive, I said stay disciplined on his message, maintain showmanship, and avoid the serious missteps like attacking the Khan family and tweeting about Alicia Machado.



You really don't understand why people love Trump. There's a clear difference between his showmanship, charisma, exaggeration, slogans, bravado, and his clear missteps. Trump supporters voted for him despite those missteps, not because of them. I'm not saying if Trump changed his personality and only talked about issues, I'm saying if he avoided the obvious nonsense he would of won by even more.

no i get what you mean, what im saying is those gained him votes rather than losing them. or at the very least didn't lose any the whole. for every 1 who jumped ship 1 or 2 boarded.

I agree. The Machado/Khan stuff hurt him, and it's this kind of stuff that people couldn't get enough of.

i'm in agreement with thesnipa, i dont think the Khan stuff hurt him with anyone who was already voting for him. hell it probably got him votes just no one told the pollsters that.
the damage from Machado he bounced back from so they brought the tapes out. that was damaging but then this is where the (C)linton campaign put it in cruise control, letting the surrogates bring out the 8971238128793789139831 misconduct abusers, and using this rhetoric against him. Meanwhile, Trump campaign kept on message to voters and took no state for granted, and that got him the victory.
