It's not a matter of intelligence. It's a psychological need to believe in it that can not be overcome. The mind believes what it wants to believe, as I have explained many times.

everytime someone explains how things really are to card_sultan, he just resorts to saying that the person is brainwashed and that millions of people are lying to him because his opinion matters that much to us or something crazy like that....

he is an egotist... he will never accept the way things are, because according to him, losing his ignorance is really hurting his pride... therefore denial will be on a continuous loop....
