No, you think they are... I am a living proof they are the exact opposite.
I have a lot of exemples :
The knowledge it contains helped me quit tobbaco after 13 years of addiction, lies to myself (I was 14 when I started).
It helped me stop videogames, after 8 years of addiction.
It helped me seek for new music, appreciate the present moment...
I found so many things since I found The Present, which gave me motivation to search again... Great music, videos, movies, people...

You quit your video game addiction, and then found a new addiction to bullshit.

A few weeks after I read The Present.



Life, the present moment, reality... that is my new addiction, you can call it how you want, do what you want, say what you want but I will never quit this one

Edit: about videogames it is just an exemple, everything that happened to me since I found The Present was good... My body (including mind) is relaxing, I am breathing better, I am eating better... pissing/defecating better...

The people in this forum would actually benefit from this information. I'm trying to explain how this information isn't worth advancing with but these people are so fearful of being manipulated by merely reading they will deny the large amount of truth. I regret being so negative before, PaRD believes in what is bullshit about it all but dislikes the real truth. This forum is definitely an aid for quitting videogames

Its called being lazy and self-absorbed. Glad you grew out of that I largely don't play anymore either. Occasional Borderlands coop with my girl.

Playing video games itself isn't debilitating, it is neglecting your responsibilities because you can't be bothered to do them that is debilitating.

Did you seriously choose hell over paradise ? That would be sad, but I don't think I can do anything for you then...
I can try to do something for PaRD, because most do not understand the truth. They reject the obvious because lies are much more comfortable in this society, and the truth is scaring first... a human must be ready to face reality and free himself.
Now if you actually know the truth and reject it, I can not do anything.
I am also not sure sure about what you mean with the first sentence, do not hesitate to develop (feel free to pm me also).



As I said it is just an exemple of what I did to escape reality before I read The Present... This forum is based on a videogame, so it is not a so bad exemple... Tobbaco is still the best exemple, it was the biggest lie from myself in my life, the biggest non-sense.
