Not too sure where you get your numbers, but Saudi Arabia has a lot more proven oil reserves than the US.
Agree here but it’s not even “unlikely” that if the US opened up more on drilling that the sheer volume of how big the US is would easily be able to have more reserves than most countries the US buys from. The only country I can think of that even has that much potential or more in that circle is Canada.
Saudi Arabia is simple not big enough to realistically have more oil in the ground than the US.
The US doesn’t have huge reserves because the US is huge in industrial, Military and travel but the US is absolutely #1 in the production of crude oil last I checked.
