Immigrants come and work but they are limited to certain number of jobs and those can get overcrowded. It’s getting to the point where government has to build shelters for these people are give them free benefits, they, then return the favor with crimes like drugs, murder, mugging.

Citizens of UK, US or EU doesn’t owe anything to these people. If I wanted to bring someone over legally step by step, it requires 1 year of wait time, proof of income/taxes, background checks, and money. Why should people be able to walk in freely.

Syrians, Afghans or Yemenites don't make up the bulk of "asylum seekers" coming to Europe anymore, though. Plenty of them nowadays hail from places like Bangladesh, India, Turkey, Somalia, Ethiopia, Ghana and so on and forth. So this "you reap what you sow"-argument doesn't really cut it imho. Most of the folks coming in today are fortune seekers looking for a better life, not people fleeing from a clear and present danger to their life.

I moved to Canada recently from Switzerland and I'd say the country is far from "destroyed". It seems like they integrate immigrants fairly well and are in a good place culturally (tolerant and welcoming for the most part) to accommodate immigrants in such a way that doesn't create enclaves of 3rd world ideologies incompatible with the modern world. It's easy to become radicalised by isolated events on the news, like a few frustrated youths jumping on the latest fad (from the river to the sea blah blah blah ).

In my limited personal experience I haven't had more negative interactions with immigrants than "natives".
