All I've heard about the indictments today was from CNN, and the cultists on this forum might be surprised that most of the commentary talks about how the legal theory is novel and there's nothing much new in the indictment. What's contained in the indictment is basically what prosecutors have known for years, and what multiple prosecutors have refused to indict Trump for.

So far, it seems that this is an example of how MSM coverage is credible, MSM also loves to amplify these moments, Alvin Bragg is behaving as the performer he campaigned on being, the Trump cult is nuts, and Trump remains an evil scumbag. Not sure there's any other takeaways from this.
