No offense, but I would take all anti-Trump stories reported by bloomberg.com with a barrel of salt while Michael Bloomberg himself is running to oust Trump.

Ah.. sounds about exactly right when most logical people are confronted by a story run by FOX.
My actual point of posting that is look at how little faith people have in any news source now everything but tRump approval is "enemy of the people" etc. welcome to the new world of YouTubers etc.
Pretty soon you won't be able to tell fact from fiction.
Sad part is not one of you people ever uttered "fake news" until tRump told you to. He is a good con man for sure

Wow, it attacks Fox on being biased, but can't see its own bias. Pard has really went down hill.

No I knew full well was proving a point. Look at original
Post. All these R jumping on “bias” but will continue to use FOX as source. Still can’t admit how much the rhetoric has damaged the process. And cannot admit they had no issue until trump told them to have one

No matter how many blunders they go through you're the only one that consistently defends them, it's like i'm insulting your mom or something lol.

They are a terrible outlet. You watch and defend them because they confirm your bias of the world. Even when their reporting is proven biased and misleading you vigorously defend them because to have your point of view shattered is threatening. I mean i get it, really, but a steady diet of that shit really warps your view of the objective world.

If you want half decent news reporting go with Reuters, WSJ, business/market leaning outlets like The Economist, Bloomberg, etc. Or continue with CNN and have Trump be the center of your universe for another 4 years and look like an idiot when trying to have an informed conversation.

Let's agree to disagree on this one.

I get my news from many sources. I use twitter for politics and follow both the left and the right, so important and/or interesting stories/analysis always show up for me, whether they come from WSJ, NYT, CNN or whoever. I subscribe to both NYT and WaPo. It's fine to disagree with me, but pretending I'm not informed is kind of silly. You seem to take these debates way too personally.

It's entirely possible that the defense team ran out of strikes. They're limited to 3 peremptory challenges: https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/28/1870

If you can substantiate bias you can remove jurors without using a strike

Reading through the transcript of the voir dire, you can just tell they were trying to identify her as a Democrat, but didn't ask the question directly, as if it weren't an allowable question, and when they tried to beat around the bush to get a response to the question (are you a Democrat operative) indirectly, got an objection and had to continue without the question being answered.

"You can only say what CNN told you to say" is just as hack as the "you only watch Fox News" posts. i cant understand why so many people are so intent on repeatedly making that type of post, i generally only do it to brand new posters to try and bait out their sources. but for anyone to act like a 10 year PARD regular is in reality a 1 source person is just silly, especially in 2020 when u get most of your news from outside of the source. like u said, twitter/reddit link leads u there, not your "daily visit" to the site.

noticed how TrustedTaggedfornothing went from faking to be a reasonable centrist straight into hypocritical source hacking. he's all about facts until you challenge him on facts he doesnt know, then it's a polite and retreating "i will have to do more research".

Two more pardons/commutations today:
  • Edward DeBartolo Jr, former 49ers owner
  • Rod Blagojevich, former illinois governor

I'd ask the cult how they feel about this but we all know the answer.

What sticks out to me about Trump's pardons/commutations is they either are people loyal to him or powerful people who have advocates who get his ear. That's about it. It's not about reforming the system, it's about shielding the people who you like.

Do you think Rod Blagojevich is either loyal to Trump or has advocates who get in his ear? Who has been lobbying to get Blagojevich pardoned other than Patti Blagojevich? When it first came up, I heard that Jared Kushner was talking about it, but he has no stake in it, and a whole bunch of people who were "in Trump's ear" were opposed to it. The Illinois GOP in particular didn't want his sentence commuted. Its hard to have any political capital or allies when you've spent 7 years in prison.
