Leftists are focusing on internal conflicts, such as race relations, internal income inequality, etc.
People like Bannon are focusing on external conflicts, such as trade, military and the united states position relative to other nations.
There is a time to look internally, no doubt, but I think that making sure you don't get crushed by other nations is more paramount than ironing out perceived inequality. Especially, when you're already the richest country on earth.
A combination of the two would be nice.
Trump's speech at the UN opened with awesome 1999-style left wing policy chops, filled with math and tangibles.
I'm cool with all that.
But I do not want, in any form, social conservatism to exist in this country anymore. It needs to be stomped out like a disease.
