no. i like hearing people face consequences when they're darwin award winners. otto wombier, this guy, etc. idiots that go on to make themselves an example for the world on what not to do, even though 99% of people have enough common sense not to do it anyways.
the nonviolent life ruining was a joke, in reference to the fact that my company which automates factory jobs, is regularly responsible for putting people out of jobs. even though we're a middling company in a massive sector, thus the joking.
as to the police, above the law? hardly. what i meant specifically was that, since you said someone should contact the authorities, the presumption would be cops coming to take my guns. and since they all know me personally that's unlikely to happen. again tho, another half joke based in a stripe of reality.
weird convo dude. real weird.
again implying that your personal relationship with law enforcement is more important than concerning information they probably don't know about you. i'm not even saying that's unrealistic with cops like you have in america, i'm saying it shouldn't be that way...
as to your backpedaling: there is a difference between criticising people's stupid and naive decisions, acknowledging that they could easily have avoided the consequences, and 'enjoying' to read about their deaths, specifying that their choices bothered you personally because they didn't live a 'normal' life like you. that sounds like personal frustration at best, and being a true psychopath at worst...
