Why we're in the middle east at all starts and ends with "oil". the region has very little to offer outside of oil, and for decades being there is an attempt to use their oil to preserve US oil reserves.
the same goes for the west's presense in many places, we colonize to exploit them as a single output economy. we've got cobalt countries, diamond/gold countries, rubber countries, palm oil countries, etc. we find what they have, we pay them pennies to resell it for dollars.
I figured as much what's your opinion on our own oil reserves in Alaska and other places.
I've been told and obviously no one truly knows but that we have a large amount of "oil" beneath our own soil but that the long term strategic plan was to suck all these other countries dry of resources then when we need them most we have plenty here.
I watched a few documentaries on "Peak Oil" and sometimes I wonder if the OPEC nations just lie about how much oil they really have sort of in the same sense that the two major diamond mining companies going back 100 years have held a monopoly on the price of "diamonds"
Not sure if it's a conspiracy or has some truth to it but I've seen reports that China has 99% of certain minerals/resources that every country needs. It sort of goes a long with the whole "NWO" thing where an elite group has given exclusive mining rights just to China but doesn't allow other countries to do the same. I connect it to the fact China/Saudia Arabia own a lot of land on our own soil but we don't own shit in theirs. China allowed to do whatever it wants but the United States has to go "full electric" by 2030 which is impossible like you know. No energy comes close to oil in terms of supporting the 1st world.
I saw in California all the Peterbilt trucks that can go 2000 miles on a single trip our now being forced to go electric and the CEO said the charge lasts 300 miles and that trucks will have to stop 6 times along their route to = what oil does. He said it was like going back 60 years in terms of effieceny all in the name of "going green". Other countries can burn whatever the hell they want (namely China/India) and no check and balances. I understand the US uses more energy then any country but doesn't that effect our national security in the long run?
