It's definitely possible there was no conspiracy. From the available evidence we know Russian intelligence approached the campaign in a number of ways, and we know the campaign was open to receiving help from the Russian government. If you look at the totality of the evidence, including the players involved, it's difficult to believe nothing untoward went on.
