worked great for your guy

trump is keeping a lot of his promises, more than usual for a politician. that trump, like every national politician, cannot pull off each and every campaign promise should be self-explanatory.

oh, and lets not forget how close he came to getting another big time victory on the "repeal obamacare" promise.

'make america great again' - from the point of view of his supporters, he is right on course to keep this promise. check.
'end or renegotiate nafta' - check.
'nominate solid conservatives to the supreme court' - check.
'end TPP, stop TTIP dead in its tracks' - check.
'move the US embassy in israel to jerusalem' - check.
'pull out of the paris climate agreement' - check.
'deregulate and stimulate the economy, create lots of jobs' - check.
'cut taxes' - check.
'revive coal country' - semi-check, trump's policies have reinvigorated the industry, but there's obviously only so much he can do.
'end abusive trade practices which come at the expense of american workers' - currently fighting hard for it, outcome to be determined.
'end the iran deal' - check.
'take a new stance in relationship with russia, north korea' - check.
'keep the country out of foreign wars' - check.
'implement and act according to an America First doctrine' - check.
'reduce levels of illegal immigration' - check.
'build the wall' - still fighting hard for it, outcome to be determined. if the GOP holds the house this fall, he'll probably get his wall.
'drain the swamp' - not really. he is partly replacing the previous, "establishment" swamp - but he's replacing it with his own swamp.
'lock her up' - broken. but this catchphrase has obviously always been a catchphrase more than a serious promise.

Trump deserves credit for keeping a lot of promises, but his #1 piece of legislation was the wall. We still don't have a wall.

Perhaps if Trump started his presidency with infrastructure rather than the travel ban, he would have had enough political leverage to push for the wall. But it doesn't look like the GOP Congress will appropriate the funding.
