Some signs that it might be real. She edited blank both her threads, said on advice of solicitor, pmed with mods, had it removed. And the story seems self-consistent.
That's kind of what I'd expect more if its real than if its a troll, since its counterproductive to seeking attention.

If that's a real story, it could easily be the next big cultural flashpoint for the UK. A girl being forced to have an abortion against her will and a media blackout preventing her from talking about the injustice? Absolutely orwellian.
That presents a few scenarios. It could be real, and wind up suppressed and nobody hears about it because of the successful censorship by the UK courts. Or it could just be a big faker that got cold feet. Or it could be real and get attention

Oh I see. So passing laws that removes people from voter registration rolls and blocks them from voting based on address technicalities is the same thing as boosting a kind of hilarious graphic on Facebook.

Is it actually UK law to allow the courts to force an abortion if the medical professionals involved suggest that labor is of severe risk of death or serious injury? If yes, I don't see how it'd be a story. If no, how were they able to enforce it in the first place?

Also I believe the gag order was to protect the privacy of the child since she is underage.

im entirely unfamiliar with the story, but given that we're like a year removed from the UK govt deciding a young boy had to die and wouldnt allow him to get treatment, it doesnt shock me. this isn't the norm by any means, just no shocking.
