The porn star who Donald Trump had sex with while his wife was at home taking care of his newborn son hired a guy. That guy did a good job representing her on television. He turned out to be a scumbag. Turning this into an indictment of the media is a silly attempt to distract from the fact that Trump is a horrible person.



Trump cheats on his wife with a pornstar, covers it up during the campaign, she comes out with a lawyer, and you think the only problem is with the lawyer.

What a delusional take. Anyone could see from 10 miles away that this lawywer was a sleazy scumbag, yet CNN lionized him and projected their hopes onto him that "a white knight in a shining armor shall emerge and slay the big bad dragon (Trump)".

Avenatti was giving Trump fire, and for this reason alone, CNN threw all caution, reason and impartiality into the wind and jumped on the bandwagon of an obvious bad guy. It is 100% justified to turn this into an indictment of CNN. The fact that Trump is himself a horrible person doesnt change any of that.

What’s concerning is there’s so many dumb people out there that think cnn is reputable. They are the tmz of news. Between making this guy into a hero and destroying a kids life only to get sued and lose millions is enough for a normal person to stop consuming that garbage.

Reputable journalist outfits you respect repeatedly hosted a professional conman who made some pretty ridiculous and false claims about the president.

Whether or not Trump is a shit bag is irrelevant. These are institutions you believe report the facts. They did such a poor job that they promoted a guy for months who ended up in prison hardly a year later.

Being upset and pointing out the behavior of some lawyer that took up some air time in the past. And being upset at his morality and comparing it to trump is ridiculous comparison and a total reach of whataboutism
