Trump campaign was hacked by a spearphisher, no real identification of who did it (they point to Iran, but no way to prove that), and all apparently they got was the opposition research files on JD Vance and Marco Rubio prior to the VP selection, which they sent to Politico. Would have to comb through politico articles to see if they actually used any of this info, but its not at all damning stuff so they would be morons to open themselves up by publishing hacking-without-whistleblowing/scandal

Basically someone got into the most secret files in Trump's campaign and all they could turn up was absolutely normal campaign emails and files about vetting candidates, unlike say the DNC in 2016

Surely this will get the same traction as "muh Russia stealing the elections" in 2016, right?
