Shit was going downhill. Obama went very conservative with Reaganomics and stabilized things and Trump's deregulation measures have been successful it seems. Even if the entirety of congress's garbage we've at least had strong executive leadership after the Bush years.

I will criticize any president and people who've been here long enough no I've criticized Obama quite a bit... in my opinion President Trump is a major step up from President Bush.

I respect President Bush much more as a human but being a good human doesn't always mean being a good executive.

the great recession of 2008 was the result of the cumulative economic policy sins committed by reagan, h.w. bush, clinton AND w. bush. while I totally agree that w. bush was a shitty president who got almost all major decisions wrong, it is unfair to put all the blame for the great recession just on him. not sure if that's what you wanted to imply here, just wanted to point it out.

The recession had many faults but the shitty recovery was all Obamas fault. He sat his fat black ass on the economy with shit policy
