May has proper bottle jobed it. Calling off tomorrow's vote, since they have zero chance of winning it. Expected them to fail the vote, but I'm genuinely curious as to where they expected to get the couple of hundred extra votes needed to see it through.

The deal is shit. It shouldn't have made it this far.

Lal, so am I. It's just buying time..

Question though: Is there any type of deal that would have a chance of winning the vote ?
Uniting the government seems more difficult that getting a deal with the EU.

It was May's plan all along to wait until the last minute to put maximum pressure on the MPs to pass any shitty ""compromise"" bill. I strongly suspect that this is still the plan.

Dear Brits, please just go through with the hard brexit already. It's getting tiring.

This one would get through with one tweak, that we had the right to withdraw without needing another deal in place. This deal essentially takes all the choice from the government, and if it passed it would leave us at the EU's mercy. Even if the right to withdraw had a time limit, it wouldn't be that bad, but as it stands its ridiculous. I wouldn't expect any country in all the world to sign up to that shit.

Not good to divide a country in two. And those populists who lied and left the boat...

Such a tragedy for both UK and EU. :(
