My understanding is that the original law was "arrived by 8:00 pm on election day", but that Democrats in the state sued to change this due to Covid-19 concerns. A lower federal court back in September allowed for a 6-day extension. However, this change was blocked on appeal and then the block was sustained by the Supreme Court. The rationale being that federal courts shouldn't be involved in changing election law so close to an election unless there are massive, unprecedented circumstances. They contend that such changes should occur through the legislative/electoral bodies.

While philosophically they have a point that makes sense, it is not without consequences for the election. A similar extension was used in Wisconsin back during an April election, and the extension allowed for 5% of the total vote to be counted that otherwise would've been thrown out.

Corporations are forced to utilize workplace democracy and give shares of the company to every worker, or be fined according to number of employees. Workers can elect a representative to be their manager and that manager has voting powers representative of the amount of workers beneath them at higher levels in the company to lobby on behalf of the employees.

Public works projects are established in every major city that build infrastructure with goals of setting its citizens up with the path to succeed.

Implement UBI for every United States citizen.

Healthcare, food, and water established as a human right and the industries are completely de-commodified, leaving luxury goods as the goods you work for.

Workplace democracy already exists in various areas. The studies on it are limited of course, but the results from them have been very promising thus far.
A decent counter measure for the inequity of people fronting the capital to start the venture is an increased/weighted voting power until the amount they put forth at the start has been re-compensated.
