On March 6, 2023, representatives from Iran and Saudi Arabia met in Beijing for discussions brokered by China. Four days later, Riyadh and Tehran announced that they had decided to normalize relations. This landmark agreement has the potential to transform the Middle East by realigning its major powers, replacing the current Arab-Iranian divide with a complex web of relationships, and weaving the region into China’s global ambitions. For Beijing, the announcement was a great leap forward in its rivalry with Washington.
This is a fact no matter how you look at it.
I am not saying that the Chinese Government are saints, I am saying they are managing to bring peace to places in the world where this was simply not imaginable for decades.
Their alliance can't be as deep as the one in West anyway, by experience we know authoritarian regimes... Always end up doing war each others anyway.
So: horrible authoritarian countries are eventually considering an economic, military, alliance to undermind, to fight, the free world. This is not peace or "sane re-balance of powers" at all.
Sorry
