Their alliance can't be as deep as the one in West anyway, by experience we know authoritarian regimes... Always end up doing war each others anyway.
So: horrible authoritarian countries are eventually considering an economic, military, alliance to undermind, to fight, the free world. This is not peace or "sane re-balance of powers" at all.

They have a very slight advantage over the US in that region. Namely, they aren't exactly a " Christian " nation.

If one makes peace worth while, then countries in the middle east will not have a reason for conflict. So no matter how you spin it, this counter claim of yours is ignoring a peace that the US has time and time again failed to achieve.

if your counter claim is : its better for these countries to be at war (because they are not democracies and only democracies are allowed in the free world), as otherwise they will be the enemies of the free world, then my response to that is that such a belief is immature and completely lacking critical thought.

The Eurasian Times newspaper headline reads: US threatens to blow up taiwans semiconductor manufacturing firm if china invades the island, taipei unhappy.
(this would basically cripple the world economy in the short term).

Taiwan's response : We will defend our infrastructure thanks, from the US.

What happened with Hong Kong? The US doesn't talk about it much anymore but it was the big thing for awhile, I remember you saying you saw NED presentations and took part in some protests I think

How did that chess piece get taken?

And yeah very candid, especially the final part where he responded to the lady saying it would wreck the global economy
