I dont think the narrative that Elon is right wing or owning the libs is correct at all, he's left leaning at the end of the day and has only ever endorsed democrats/independents. He also resigned from advisory groups Trump put him on in protest of pulling out of the Paris agreement. A more accurate view of the situation is woke and far left vs non-woke, and the woke are heavily outnumbered even though they shout the loudest

this is a result of how effective the woke mob has been. when they started to bark for action all of the left leaning politicians jumped into line, started to drastically change their language, started to show campaign ads with 12 people at a table from 8 different races and the other 4 were representing sexual identity groups. now some 10 years into the movement the average leftist cannot understand how someone could be left leaning politically and not woke, not can the right leaning people understand someone can be non woke and also not on their team. Joe Rogan tried to wake them up to this for years, then Covid gave them the chance to call him a republican for good and all.
