Imagine going to the store and a tomato is $5. All the corn syrup is unaffected though, since that's all an industrial process without significant human intervention.
So what would end up happening is the easy to make highly processed shit that is nothing but high fructose corn syrup stays the same, and all the healthy fresh vegetables go up at least by a factor of 5.
Maybe we just need to raise wages for all workers across the board.
And no, prices of fresh veggies would not be too high as to be out of reach for the average consumers. Just force the multi-billionaires or the Rothschilds to share some of their wealth with us. We, especially if we are the middle class, earned the bulk of that money for them. So, we deserve it.
