Pence can't overturn anything. So if he fulfills his basic responsibility without weirdness, I don't consider him a great statesman because of it.

yeah but like his entire crew are basically an acting troop at this pointing playing out a skit for alt right fringe wierdos. so him being the one person keeping it real is pretty refreshing. and honestly surprising to me. pence has always been more establishment, that's why he was selected, to give the ticket legitimacy. but he always seemed to me like the border to the radical fringe, not the gatekeeper of sanity on the other side of the line. i expected a "i really want to do something but i cant and its the leftists' fault" not "i dont think the founders would want me to try".

We're very early in the count. I'd be astonished if Pence doesn't make a bullshit statement about election fraud before this is done.
