Portraying the election as "a humane individual with some class and decency" vs 'not' is a fundamentally ridiculous and garbage representation.

Biden wasn't acting with class and decency when he was repeatedly lying and crude tonight, or when he was writing the 1994 crime bill responsible for mass incarceration, or throughout his 47 years in government when he was complicit in unnecessary wars and perpetuating and expanding government violence at home and abroad.
Biden and the democrats won't be acting with class and decency if they are allowed to enact more of their agenda as president.

Refusing to come against court packing is not decent.
A party assisting and funding radical left wing violence in the streets against innocent people is not classy or decent.

The Proud Boys really aren't my thing, but the false equivalence should be called out. The violence is precipitated by left-wing groups, riots are initiated by left-wing groups, police assassinations' are perpetrated by left-wing assailants. If we were in a situation akin to pre-war Germany, with Nazis and Communists in bloody street fights, fine, but that's really just not the case. By and large it is far-left, radicalized rioters facing off with members of law enforcement.

I had other things to do tonight, so I was unable to watch the debate. From what I gather, Trump's emotional performance was not up to par.

Regardless of why he waited, as a minority hated by white supremacists, I'm fine with his condemnation of them, and anyone using that quote to portray his as being racist is being disingenuous.

If you make a statement to clarify what you're about to say, that clarification doesn't get overridden by what you say. It, you know, clarifies what you say. As I said, any attempt to use that statement to portray him as racist is disingenuous at best, if not outright malicious lies.
