very interesting. did those 4 cite any specific reasons for breaking party ranks?
If i had to guess, I'd say they realized that this bill would tear the state apart and lead to a lot of violence and ugly scenes. Perhaps they're also thinking strategically: if a state really wants to force the issue and mass-seize guns, even if it leads to violent unrest where they might have to call in the national guard, then they might want to wait until a Democrat sits in the White House.
