Look like indians hindus massacred some mulsims on a sample of 172 millions/1.3 billions , then "peace is impossible"
Not to mention we are still in the same living conditions than 1000 years ago, and that situation (religiously, culturally, economically) is the same than india anywhere on the planet.

I dont like islam either anyway, but im still blaming this kind of quick & easy thinking

was about to say.

but despite ghot's obvious failure, india is yet another piece of evidence for the impossibility of muslims to peacefully coexist with other religions/cultures inside the same country. as you said: muslims and hindus have been living together on the territory of what today is india for centuries, and yet there is still no sense of unity, there is still no successful model for getting along with each other, the situation is nonetheless getting worse from year to year.

all over the world, there are only three options for living with muslims:

1: a marked muslim majority, sharia rule, minorities, women and LGBTQ* folks are oppressed.
2.: a small muslim minority which has no societal power and does its own thing without causing a lot of trouble.
3: an either large or politically powerful muslim minority, lots of trouble, lots of friction, eventually leading to either scenario 1 or 2. calm/peace is all but impossible in this scenario.

You're saying the same thing I said, just saying it better.

I don't care how long ago muslims invaded other countries. It seems to me that something in their philosophy is encouraging them to do so, and still is.
That's what I have a problem with. It's not just a problem in India, w/e it started. It's a world wide problem.

I probably should have used the word philosophy rather than the word someone.
I think the rest of the world is going to have some serious issues with a philosophy like that. Some sooner, some later, but it will happen, just like what is happening in India now.

As U.S. pushes for Mideast peace, Saudi king reassures allies

RIYADH (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia has reassured Arab allies it will not endorse any Middle East peace plan that fails to address Jerusalem’s status or refugees’ right of return, easing their concerns that the kingdom might back a nascent U.S. deal which aligns with Israel on key issues.

King Salman’s private guarantees to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and his public defense of long-standing Arab positions in recent months have helped reverse perceptions that Saudi Arabia’s stance was changing under his powerful young son, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, diplomats and analysts said.

Sounds to me like Saudi's crown prince is the one that the US and the world should be dealing with, however that happens to come about.

MBS is at least changing things up. I still dont like the guy because of the horrible war he's waging in Yemen, and for his incendiary rhetoric towards iran. but he's probably better than Saudi Arabia's old guard.

It sounds like that.

I was just looking at Google maps again. It seems that even Google thinks that the West Bank belongs either to Israel or to some non-Arabic group.
I notice that the Arabic names for various cities seem to stop at the Jordan river, and don't continue into the West Bank.

As far as Google's naming conventions go, it seems they think that the entire area outlined in RED is Israel or at least non-Arabic.
Here's the link so you can zoom in and out and see what I mean.

Finally when you zoom out a respectable amount, it sure LOOKS like the various Arabic countries are indeed trying to simply snuff Israel out of existence...
Looks mainly like Syria and Jordan are just sort of leaking over into Israel. Or trying to, at least.

As far as Google is concerned, Egypt and Lebanon seem to be respecting Israel's borders, for now at least.

Yeah, that's as old as I am. :D

I like my map (and Googles) The Arabs have enough land. Israel should have all the area in RED on my map. If the Arabs want a Palestinian state, then they can carve one out of their land.
