Meat eating used to be a privilege for few, now it's become common to even the peasants, I understand your reactionary position but I reject it on principle.
I'm not really sure how my position is reactionary. Its proactive, taking advantage of resources that otherwise slowly rise into the atmosphere and disappear. This solution would appease environmentalists, however that's far from my aim. Methane reduces coal consumption and energy costs by extension. Plus enviromentalists love to crow on about the water that modern beef industry uses, so if we take the water consumption for the coal industry and eliminate it what are we left with? Sustained beef industry, with cheaper energy, with cheaper water, with less whiny environmentalists. Works all the way around.
