Belief in something does not necessarily imply you know it for a fact or believe to know it for a fact. For example, I believe that if I go to the bus stop where a bus is meant to arrive at 8:00, that a bus will come at about 8:00, though of course I can't know this because maybe the bus will have run into traffic or gotten into an accident.

Pat Tillman was killed in a friendly fire accident. Tragic.

He refused 3,6 million on 3 years from Arizona Cardinals to fight for his country after 9/11, and yeah he was mistakenly believed to be from enemy combatants :/

Who here can say that he would suspend a great millionaire career and put his life in danger to help his country ? not me.

A true hero for me, but not even a patriot for Bush.

Dunno about heroes... Misguided idiots maybe. Takes some balls to do I'll give em that. Wouldn't call them cowards... But it doesn't take a lot of brains either.

Just having and doing things that take courage don't make you a hero.

you can say that he is not a hero because he didn't accomplish anything much to help his country and you right.

But he should be a good source of inspiration, also i wonder who are heroes in the real world ?
