You met wifey at oshkosh tho right

Maybe alternate reality wouldn’t have been so kind. Something about those Wisconsin girls

true, never would have met her. maybe my alternate reality st point wifey has a larger cup size, or maybe she's a meth addict. a roll of the dice is never guaranteed!

in any case i wouldnt change it, i like where i am in all facets of life.

Would you say that the high school you attended probably brought up "little" about the real "cost" of college because the public school where I went never talked about the "massive loans" you'd have to take out if you got in to a major university. They always made it seem like because of your high GPA you'd get "money back on tuition" or that "scholarships" were easy to get if you just applied.

my highschool, like many, was a conveyor belt for college. if you weren't 4-year state school material you were told you at least needed an associates.

i'd be a lot more butthurt about that if i had issues paying loans, i dont, as i chose a high wage career and i live in a very cheap part of wisconsin. ive timed markets well all around, and live frugal. but its also helped that self sufficiency and zero waste are hobbies of mine, rather than console gaming or some other net negative endeavor.

i applied to yale, i wasnt accepted. then i applied to stevens point, on a paper science major intention (high demand, low supply, school paid for by paper industry fully) and was wait listed. so when university of wisconsin oshkosh accepted me i decided to go there, on my dime. stevens point accepted me but i was butthurt, never even considered going back. one of my more boneheaded moves, as i paid for my own school as a result.

Point Special hmmm, spent some time in Point. Chain of Lakes nearby pretty amazing. Sentry World golf course... 80s companies did it right

If you think that offends me it doesn't. I applied to 6 different schools when I was a junior in high school. 3 of those schools were out-of-state and I sent my transcript just for shits and giggles because that's how many schools my high school would send to. Namely UCLA, University of Wisconsin, and Purdue. I didn't think I could get in those but why not try? The other 3 were Eastern Illinois University, Illinois State University, and University of Illinois. I knew I'd get in those first two and I did(that's where most people from my high school went). The main reason I was told I didn't get accepted into U of I wasn't because of my test score it was because of the fact I "worked" and didn't do any extracurriculars in high school. No sports. No chess club. No science club and apparently U of I wanted "that". So it wasn't a surprise. The average ACT test score for acceptance into U of I was a 28. I got a 31. That's why I was pretty shocked. Had I been in "band" I maybe would've gotten in who knows.

I can see why your one of the most pretentious atheist though. Because you think a "diploma" is a measure of success. You think your so smart that even "God" isn't good enough for that big brain of yours. I have family members who are atheist and educated and let me tell you they are a lot like you. Unhappy. Riding on a high horse. Making sly comments as if everyone is beneath them. It's exactly what you do on this forum. You pretend you have no weaknesses but your greatest weakness is your hubris and your inability to be humble even in conversation.

while Republicans are starting to toy with the idea of removing Joe Biden from the ballot in their states, democrats are dreaming up the next step, where Joe Biden simply refuses to leave office if he loses to Trump:

Yeah why should anyone pay attention to what US senators have to say? :bonk:
If Mr Beast starts posting about it, then I'll know its entered the mainstream social consciousness

So when Ted Cruz called Jan 6 a terrorist attack your response is to do what then? Continue burying your head in the sand?
When Mitch McConnell says Trump was responsible for Jan 6? What does Goom do?
When McCarthy said this the week after Jan 6 "“One officer got killed…they got broken arms. You don’t understand what was transpiring at that moment and that time. People hanging. People brought ropes. When I got back into my building, I found the straps that they had. I don’t know if they come and try to kidnap somebody or whatever. But they, they were well planned for it.”

“They scaled walls,” he added. “They brought ropes. A couple of protesters died because they scaled. And when you have the inaugural there was scaffolding. They were scaling the scaffolding. They, they overtook the place.”"

What does Goom think of that?

Wait you just brush it off. :bonk: Glad you can spin up a hair brained conspiracy from a one word tweet reply by a senator though.
