Yep, I've outlined in this thread how there was clear and unambiguous malice. The laws were broken intentionally at every stage.

You're doing that thing stupid people do, where they mistake length for quality.

What malice?
If we're being rational, we have to allow that Trump probably took things home to read/study. He's NOT a politician and he was elected to a viper nest.
I'd be reading/studying too. LOL

Illegal? That's kind of iffy. Technically, yes, it was illegal. But just about every politician does it.
It seems like you only want to "draw the line" where Trump is concerned, and let everyone else get away with it.

That's pretty disingenuous.

Nah, I think they should take it more seriously when anybody does it. You think I give a shit if they lock up Hillary?

But it's pretty clear the consistent policy is as long as the other party isn't actively impeding the recovery of the documents while actively sharing then that they won't be charged. Trump is somehow so stupid he couldn't just let them get the boxes. Instead he actively hid them as though they don't know what documents are missing

Midwit

Generally found in the 105-120 IQ range. These are the people who are considered "gifted" in primary school and perhaps "honors" in high school. In the same vein, they either think of themselves as "smart but lazy" or perform well in school yet do poorly/mediocre on standardized testing. May attend a low-tier university or none at all. Almost always very online, with strong opinions that lack nuance.

Midwits are truly cursed to be neither blissfully dumb nor reap the benefit of being of superior intelligence or a genius. They can grasp general concepts, but are less capable of digging deeper, understanding nuance, or adapting quickly to complex problems, leading to an entire middle class of perpetually unhappy, often vaguely angry people.

This applies so well, you are a patient man to actually talk to these guys

And Hillary destroyed emails after being subpoenaed, which is even worse.
Again... where do you draw the line.

If you only draw the line for one politician... then you ARE weaponizing the DOJ. And THAT is a real problem. ^^

Interesting that you think that. Doesn't describe me at all.

Always scored high 90th percentile on standardized tests, have an advanced degree and work in a highly technical field.

Same for Sioux just so you know.

So the fact that you think that describes us should really give you pause in how you judge people. You are clearly extremely bad at it.

Hillary turned over the physical server with tens of thousands of emails. Wasn't perfect in her record keeping but it's clear it wasn't malicious or in an attempt to get out of anything.

Meanwhile we know for a fact Trump actively hid documents ahead of the raid and lied about doing a thorough search. So the situations aren't really comparable.

I'd like Hillary to have had some consequences but what she did is still only a tiny fraction as bad as what Trump has done.

Yeah, you already said you reject the concept of evidence so why would I expect evidence to persuade you.
