Yep. SCOTUS Justices receive lifetime appointments, so it's only fair for the Senate fully vet their professional life as a part of their advise and consent to the President. The GOP should have nothing to lose with being transparent.



Democrats aren't requesting personal information on Kavanaugh - they are requesting documents relating to his time in the George W. Bush administration.



The American people have a right to know the details about Kavanaugh's time in the Bush White House. This is and always has been a public process. And it's important we keep it transparent.

Many nominees have been pulled because there were skeletons in their closet. And that's the best thing for the country. This is a lifetime appointment. You need an extra squeaky clean record to serve on this Court.

And by all accounts, Kavanaugh has that. So prove it.
