Cost isn't what matters. Majority of courts have viewed this to be equated as a poll tax which is not allowed because it falls under the lines that it's requiring money to vote.

Only if you overlook the fact that an ID is required for 100's of "other" things as well.
So you can't attribute the cost of an ID to ONLY voting, so the "poll tax" argument goes right out the window.

So sorry. :(

In Arizona, a state ID is $10. If you cannot afford an ID and can take the time to fill out 1 form that'll take you approximately 3 minutes to fill out, it will be provided free of charge.

Again, the whole "It's racist to require an ID" is stupid, untrue, and simply false. Verifying citizenship is a requirement. Likewise, citizenship in poor standing (felon) who cannot vote but attempts to vote is called fraud.

This.

Also, the major issue with voter ID laws isn't necessarily the piece about simply needing a voter ID, but the implementation of the laws themselves. Just a couple of years ago North Carolina had its voter ID legislation struck down by the court because they used voting records and population demographics to require specifics forms of ID for specific elections that people of color were disproportionately less likely to have than white voters. The ruling included a section stating that the NC legislature was targeting racial minorities with "surgical precision".

Wonder what your argument is going to be, when the courts decide there was no fraud.

If it comes to that point, hopefully the only argument heard is, "I was wrong."

I predicted a 300+ EV win for Trump. I can already say with 90% certainty I was wrong. As to a winner, we need to see certified counts from the states first of all, which is not due, I believe, until as late as 12/08 (New Jersey). The time varies based on the state. From the certification point, you have the court challenge.

It could quite literally take until January to have a declared winner. But if Biden wins, my simple answer is, "I was wrong." If Trump wins at below 300 EV, my answer is, "I was wrong".

Kind of an adult way of going about things.

It doesn't go out of the window because the entire point is poll taxes are not legal. So just because you need an ID to buy alcohol or whatever else is irrelevant because the law is the law and poll taxes are not legal and requiring an ID which cost money to get is essentially a poll tax and it doesn't get any more clearer.

Get your head out of the sand.

Trump voters coming by to "check out if everything is in order" are not not poll watchers

Because it's much harder to commit voter fraud, with witnesses around.

If there's no cost there's no tax. It's as simple as that. In nearly every state (nearly, not all), IDs are made freely available if you are low income, or specifically request the need for it to vote.

That's not a poll tax. You are lying, Lance. Please stop.
