Figuring out people will end up in getting tired of this Trump circus (not just him, but the whole noise arround it too) so yes, this will destroy republicans.
Americans will be pissed by all this and will vote for the other party.

Wealth distribution is good as long as it goes to the rich (capitalism) but if it goes to the poor? No no, that's bad (socialism)

something that leftists, and socialists in particular, never seem to get: wealth has to be created before it can be redistributed.

capitalism is producing a too top-heavy distribution of wealth, but it is also producing a lot of wealth to begin with.
socialism leads to a fairer distribution of what's available, but it has an abysmal track record at building or sustaining wealth, and often times fails to even cover the people's most basic needs.

Probably none, a better question would probably be which nations that don't practice (pure) capitalism have happier people on average? The answer is probably many nations.

Tiny oil countries like Katar or the UAE. But if you dont have oil, there is no way to beat capitalism when it comes to the standard of living.

Now, which form or variety of capitalism yields the best results is very much debatable. Unmitigated predatory capitalism is certainly inferior to a variant of capitalism that includes at least a modest amount of social security and redistribution via taxes.
