Depends where you are. There are places in Canada that are no different from the bible belt. A lot of them are in Alberta.
The point is though that a teacher in the US trying the shit teachers here did would have been fired for bringing religion into the classroom. Teachers here were free to do so there was nothing to discourage it.

No. Atheism is the absence of religion. Atheists by and large do not disbelieve in gods we simply do not believe in them. English is a poor language for being so specific but you can understand it if you try.

Evolution has nothing to do with atheism and vice versa. This is why you theists always lose the argument. You don't even bother to understand what the argument is.

I don't have proof of which theory is right, but I do say this: according to the bible, humans used to be immortal until Adam and Eve ate from the tree, got tossed out of Eden, and this cursed their descendants, which are all humans, to death. But dogs, cats, elephants, and indeed almost all living creatures are doomed to die too, but their ancestors did not eat from the tree. So this makes me think that the creationist theory is less likely to be true, and the evolutionist theory more likely. All living things including humans die, and this is because they evolved from a common, mortal ancestor.
