its actually a decent picture, and right on target, just probably not the way you intended: the principle behind this meme, divide and conquer, fits indentity politics like a glove. when everything is about gender (men vs women vs transgender), or about race (whites vs blacks vs latinos vs asians), or religion (christians vs muslims vs atheists), the people are getting divided and polarized along artificially drawn lines.
the plutocrats fear nothing more than a united people. having the people deeply divided roughly 50:50 on every important issue is the perfect situation for them. in this sense, the democrats and their obsession with identity politics are the best helpers of the plutocrats.
but of course one has to be capable and willing to think beyond "orange man bad" to see this.
makes me wonder, what do YOU think i 'intended'? because i really don't see any other way to interpret it, and i've pointed out countless times how people are constantly manipulated into voting against their own interest...
there is no majority that supports citizens united, there is no majority supporting the electoral college, there is no majority rejecting common sense gun control, there is no majority against universal healthcare and affordable education - but pitchfork and torch guys hate each other so much, the corrupt establishment has a really easy time distracting them while at the same time limiting their rights, freedoms, and wealth to enrich themselves...
