Ah, she didn't say that the woman would be forced to give birth. She said... that when the woman, by herself, decides to have the baby, that the man shouldn't have to pay if he was not part of that decision.

So you throw this whole pro "life" thing out the window if the guy doesn't want it and now it's the woman having a choice?

I don't think he is wrong. If woman have the right to abort without the man's opinion why should the man have to support a child he doesn't want? You can't have double standards.

Dude... the quote by Karen DeCrow is about the woman BY HERSELF, deciding to keep a child. This is NOT about abortion, yea or nae.

/e This is about the woman legally being the ONLY decision maker in a case like this.

Opposing abortion rights for women and supporting a father who wants to shirk his responsibilities when a woman chooses not to abort are very contradictory views if you have any principles regarding abortion

Stop abortions and pay up on child support however until abortion is illegal except for medical emergencies then men should also get a choice.

Almost like she has a right to make her own medical decisions or something.

What a weird world we live in where you can't force women into medical procedures.

Morally I'd never do it. But if you want to be fair and have proper rights on both sides you have to give them that option. Otherwise you are being a hypocrite.

Almost like he doesn't have a right to be involved in the decision on whether to keep the child or not.

Do you disagree with the idea that parents have duties and obligation towards their children?

If a guy wants the child and the woman doesn't I'd support requiring her to make support payments.
