exucse me, but in which world is Michelle knowledgeable? during the 2016 campaign, I listened to two speeches of hers, and both were intellectually flat, light on policy and basically consisted of nothing but playing the women's card on hillary's behalf and playing the racism card against trump for 40+ minutes. it was painful to listen to, and made me realize how overhyped michelle was/is by the media.
michelle is ahead of the bush wives or nancy reagan, but she's still lightyears behind hillary. in the end, hillary is the only first lady who's really smart and really knowledgeable on politics (just happens to be a horrible person with horrible policies.)
Hillary is a career politician that happened to be a first lady and one that is typically one of the most informed (on policy) people in most rooms at most times
excluding Clinton she can hold her own on a casual public conversation on issues which is where a first lady would be participating
Her fun and friendly personality got her to the party but her ability to talk about substance helped as well
Like I said above Melania is known to not want this type of spotlight, this spotlight isn't her strength and often time she chooses to avoid it
